i-Connect allows employers to automatically upload data to the Wiltshire Pension Fund database which will save both employers and the Fund time, improve controls and accuracy. Using i-Connect will eventually remove the need to provide detailed year end information (assuming all monthly submitted data is accurate) as information will have been received monthly.
Additionally using i-Connect will allow members to view their latest pension figures on a monthly basis via My Wiltshire Pension , thier secure online portal.
Employers need to ensure that strict checks are in place when submitting their monthly payroll via i-Connect to ensure the systems works effectively.

File upload
This is where you will run a report from your payroll system and transfer the data to our CSV extract file template. This is mainly the method for larger employers who manage a large amount of member data.

Online returns
This is the manual data entry method on i-Connect and you would update the member data line by line. This method is aimed at smaller employers who have a small amount of member data to upload.

Please note there is some information we will require outside of i-Connect such as;

- Pension Remuneration Figures
- 50/50 Section election forms
- Service Breaks
- Assumed Pensionable Pay (APP)
- Additional Contributions (AVC's or APC's)
